Assistant Professor of Nursing, Marquette
Abiola Keller is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Marquette University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses. She completed her Ph.D. in population health sciences and master of public health at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a postdoctoral fellowship in health disparities research in the University of Wisconsin Center for Women’s Health and Health Disparities Research. She trained as a physician assistant at the University of Iowa. She completed her undergraduate studies in biomedical sciences at Marquette University. Her research focuses on depression, medication adherence, and chronic disease management with particular interests in health disparities and health equity. Her research has been supported through funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation Dr. Judith Stitt Woman Faculty Scholar Grant. Dr. Keller currently serves on the board of directors for the Burke Foundation and Meta House.
